Rolling for Relaxation
This 4 hour live class is approved by NCBTMB as continuing education. In this class we will use foam rollers, tennis balls and lacrosse balls to practice self massage as to prolong their career and provide relief for their own body. They may even choose to share some of these techniques with their clients.

In this course, massage therapists will use foam rollers, tennis balls and lacrosse balls to practice self massage as to prolong their career and provide relief for their own body. They may even choose to share some of these techniques with their clients.
1.) Students will learn to use the ground up technique to provide relief from the daily physical stresses of massage.
2.) Students will identify areas of stress or pain that they wish to alleviate on their own.
3.) Students will use tools to help relieve stress or pain from massage.
4.) Students will identify cautionary site and contraindications to self massage utilizing tools.
Students will use tools to assist in relief from the daily activity of massage.
Students will identify techniques they can use in their own self care routine.
Students will apply the ground up technique when using foam rollers, tennis balls and lacrosse balls for self care.
Students will explain how to safely use tools.
Will students be given course material when they attend each course?
Will students receive a syllabus before each course, explaining the information that will be taught?
How will each student be evaluated?
What do I need to bring to class?
Please bring a beach towel or yoga mat as we will be on the floor and wear comfortable clothing.
