Education is the center of the massage industry. None of us would have reached the current point of our careers without those before us that taught and mentored us. Join the ranks of massage educators and pay it forward with this teacher training program.

Course Outline
8:00 - 8:20 Meet and greet, introduction to course and what to expect, students receive class materials.
8:20-9:00am Why do you want to teach CE? What are your strengths/weaknesses/skills? Inventory worksheet on strengths. Define imposter syndrome. How to overcome imposter syndrome as the number one reason LMBTs give up on their teaching dreams.
9:00am- 9:10am Break
9:10am-10:50am Begin to go over NCBTMB course requirements and how to become a CE instructor. Using the NCBTMB website
10:50am-11:00am Break
11:00am-12:00pm Using the online platform versus teaching live. Advantages and disadvantages. Make a class list of materials that would be used for both.
12;00pm- 1:00pm Lunch
1:00pm- 2:00pm .Teaching styles, learning styles, ways to engage students and the attention span.
2:00pm-2:10pm Break
2:10pm- 3:30pm Brainstorming for Content. Mind maps with ideas for courses using their strengths and skills. Outlining your course: How to write objectives. How to write outcomes. How to plan your course outline.
Preparing for the course. Preparing hand outs.
3:30pm-3:40pm Break
3:40pm-4:40pm Presentation Skills, How to answer tough questions, How to evaluate course effectiveness, How to market your course, How to build an email list, How to plan your year for teaching CE
